DISCOUNTS, Rates, Deposits & Payments Return to the Main Event Page Go To The RSVP Form Summer Getaway at Berkshire Hills in Copake NY!!! Thursday, June 18th to Sunday June 21, 2026 (Friday June 19 - Juneeteenth Holiday) EARLY BIRD DEADLINE MIDNIGHT MONDAY, MAY 18, 2026 STANDARD EVENT RSVP MIDNIGHT MONDAY June 1, 2026 FINAL EVENT RSVP MIDNIGHT SUNDAY, JUNE 14. 2026 In order to get the price/rate for a deadline, you must do both of the following actions by the deadlines listed above: A) Complete the RSVP Form fully B) Pay your deposit either via the RSVP form using paypal, or below using instructions for zelle Once you do both of these things, you will be registered. After the deadline has passed for a rate, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration, but once you do both of these things you are registered, so don’t worry if you are properly registered! We will then be in touch with you via email as to additional details for the event. |

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT TO COMPLETE YOUR RSVP: In order to complete your reservation, you must make a non-refundable (except as otherwise specified) sent to paypal by the deadlines at the top of this page. In order to get the discounted rate for a given deadline, you need to make your deposit payment into paypal by the deadlines above. PAYMENT METHODS - PAYPAL Or Zelle You may pay in one of several ways , via paypal or zelle. We prefer an initial deposit via zelle but paypal is also ok. However for the balance of your payment above the deposit, we expect payment via zelle. And the balance above the deposit is best paid via zelle—if you prefer to pay the entire amount via paypal using a credit card then we will add an aprox 4% fee to the bill which we need to calculate in advance of your payment…. Via Zelle To pay via zelle, the email I use is davetrekadventures@gmail.com. Please send me a $1 payment via zelle first, and then confirm that I received this by sending me an email at davetrekadventures@gmail.com and once you get confirmation from me, then you can send the rest. If you have trouble using zelle, you can also ask me about the possibility of using venmo as well. Via Paypal Deposits using PayPal At the end of the RSVP Form, which you will need to fill out fully in order to complete your reservation. You can pay the deposit via paypal. Payments in Full using PayPal (in addition to the deposit) We don't like getting the balance via paypal because of surcharges. But if you need to pay via paypal there is an approximate 4% surcharge for paying the rest of the monies owed when paying via paypal, which is solely based on the surcharge to me from paypal. If you want to pay the balance via paypal, contact me after rsvping and paying the deposit so I can calculate the price with the surcharge All payments for those rsvping before the final deadline for the weekend must be in no later than Sunday, June 7th. 2026 otherwise you will not be allowed to come on the weekend. Thank you for your cooperation with these matters. We need to pay the Retreat Center in full while we are at the event, so we need to be able to deposit the monies in order to make payment to the Retreat Center within their deadlines. |

FULL PAYMENT REQUIRED PRIOR TO THE WEEKEND: The retreat center is requiring us to make full payment the last day of the weekend. So unlike previous events, in order to come on the weekend you must make your FULL PAYMENT PRIOR TO COMING ON THE WEEKEND. If using paypal, the balance of your payment must be sent via PayPal no later than Sunday, 10/5/2025. ALL PAYMENTS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN SUNDAY, October 5. 2025. FAILURE TO MEET THIS DEADLINE WILL MEAN YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE WEEKEND. REFUNDS/ CHANGES POLICY: General Policy You may request a refund of your initial rush deposit until Friday May 15, 2026. For any other RSVPs starting from May 15th onwards, you may request a refund until Thursday, May 28th. For the Initial Rush, we are only asking for a payment of $150 per adult, with full payment of the remaining balance by June 2, 2026. We are finalizing the agreement with Berkshire Hills and if we decide not to have this event you will be entitled to a full return of your deposit within 10 business days of when this decision is sent out to the email list/WhatsApp group. No refunds will be allowed for anyone, no matter when you sign up, after THURSDAY MAY 28TH, 2026 , except as otherwise stated in this ‘Refund Policy’ Section. The retreat center imposes a large non refundable deposit on us, so we have no choice but to do the same to you. If you need to cancel after these deadlines, you may substitute someone who we approve for your spot( See Cancellation/switches, below). In such event, we will switch your deposit to that person, and you can seek your deposit from the substituted person. Refunds - Changes in Room Class There are a limited number of rooms at each available rate. Once a room class ( Deluxe, Standard, Basic) is filled, you may need to take your 2nd choice. If neither your 1st or 2nd room choice is available, you will be allowed to cancel without penalty. Cancellations/ Switch with new person You may be able to switch your RSVP to another individual who has not yet signed up for the event and transfer your deposit to the new individual, but this is subject to prior approval by Davetrek Adventures. There are no refunds for such cancellations that occur after October 2, 2011. If this switch occurs and is approved, you will need to get your deposit back from the person you added on for the ‘switch’, as we will transfer your deposit to the new person. Thank you for your help and cooperation with this policy. Changes in Dates - you can change the dates you want to come for, without penalty until June 7th, as space permits. You need to decide your final stay by June 7th and settle up your bill by June 14th, 2026 and pay any remaining monies due by then. Rates & Policies: Rates & Policies: room & board and onsite activities; off site activities (except local hiking) & any onsite craft farm tours and onsite adamah classes will have additional fees. Times listed are for room access - as specified on the website for this event, you will have access to continue to use the facilities at Berkshire Hills on the day you leave until 1:30 PM. Rates are subject to change until you pay the deposit. Rates You may come up for 2 or 3 nights Check– IN & Check Out You may come to Isabella Freedman as early as 1pm on the day of your arrival and check-in to your rooms by 3 PM. Check out the day that you leave is 9:00 AM - we will need to charge $60 per room for anyone who needs to check out later than 9:00 AM, so plan accordingly. You may stay onsite until 1:30 PM on the day that you leave. ROOM TYPES - LAKE VS FOREST /FIELD VIEW - certain buildings have rooms in the front facing the lake and also rooms in the back of the building which face either a forest or a field. There are limited numbers of Forest View rooms so get them while they last! |

* Bring a Friend/Family Discount Details and Rules Part I – General Discount Rules 1. These discounts are off the adult rates ONLY and you can only one discount per adult, either the Bring a Friend / Family or the Delaware Combo Discount. In order to get the discount you and each of your friends/family must be in compliance with all of the rules for the discount in question. 2. Any of these discounts is based on all Friends/Family making full payment of all monies due. Any cancellation and/or failure by a friend or family to make full payment will result in revocation of the discount and you will need to pay the full rate then in effect for the retreat. 3. Rules may be changed without notice and these discounts may be revoked at any time, however if you qualified for a discount and Davetrek Adventures revokes your discount you will be entitled to cancel your participation in the event and receive a full refund of all monies paid for the event, after the event is concluded. 4. Any abuse of these rules may result in removal from the Davetrek Adventures group and a ban on coming to future events. Part II - Friends Discount Rules/RSVPS - In order to qualify, all friends signing up for this discount must do the following in their respective rsvp form a) select the discount you are using in the form and do either of the following i) sign up on the same RSVP form but each can pay separately - we will be in touch individually with each person once you rsvp, or ii) if signing up separately, you must mention all the names of the people who you are signing up with for this discount. b. If after you and a friend (s) sign up, new additional friends also sign up before RSVPs end under this discount, then all previously signed up friends and the new friend will get the higher discount and if needed we will refund money to you and your friends after the retreat is over. 3. A. Family Discount Qualifications- the additional family members signing up must be adults outside of your immediate/nuclear family unit and must have a separate address than you - e.g. if you are a couple with kids, then another family member who lives elsewhere like a parent, grandparent, cousin, uncle, niece, nephew, etc. is the additional family member that will qualify you for the discount. B. Counting of Adults for the Family Discount - For the family discount each additional adult that meets the criteria in 3A helps you get a higher discount, so for example, if a couple signs up and gets another couple to sign up, then the two adults from the new couple would mean that you would each qualify for the Friend/Family + 2 Adults discount, and so on for all additional family adults. C. RSVP Rules - In order to qualify, all family signing up for this discount must do the following in their respective rsvp form a) select the discount you are using in the form and do either of the following i) sign up on the same RSVP form but each can pay separately - we will be in touch individually with each person once you rsvp, or ii) if signing up separately, you must mention all the names of the adult family members who you are signing up with for this discount. b. Delaware Combo Discount Rules 1. These discounts are off the adult rates ONLY and you can only one discount per adult, either the Bring a Friend / Family or the Delaware Combo Discount. In order to get the discount you must be in compliance with all of the rules for the discount in question. 2. For each adult signed up for both the June 18 – 21 Getaway and for the July 12th 7/15 Delware Kayak/Canoe/Raft/Beach/Relax + Diner, you get the per adult discounts above. 3. You must sign up for the July 15th Delaware Boating event no later than Sunday, June 14th to get this Delaware Combo Discount. 4. This discount is based on making full payment of all monies due for both events. Any cancellation and/or failure to make full payment for both events will result in revocation of the discount and you will need to pay the full rate then in effect for the retreat. 5.
