Join us for our a tour of the Northern Parts of Central Park. We will focus on the Revolutionary War/ 1812, the Harlem Meer and the Conservatory Gardens...

 

We will meet  just inside the park  at 96th St and Central Park West, explore various parts of the park and end the night with snacks we will provide  and dinner for those who want to bring dinner and eat under the stars.

 

Be prepared to walk 3 to 4 miles, and learn about the interesting history and unusual sights in the park.

Date: Wednesday, August 14, 2024

 

Time: 6:15 - 9:00 PM

 

Location: West 96th St and Central Park West - we usually end near the Great Hill, 106th  and Central Park West.

Cost:

 

$15 per person - early bird through Wednesday, August 7, 2024

$20 per person standard - through Wednesday, August 14

 

What Should I Bring? Hat, Suntan lotion, 1 liter water, comfortable shoes, and dinner if you want to eat together. We will provide snacks at the end of the tour while we eat dinner near the Great Lawn.

 

Weather: Any reasonable chance of rain during the evening hours will cancel, but we hope to hold this event if sprinkles or scattered showers are forecast....

Space is limited, so don't get closed out! Children are welcome if they are able to walk up to 4 miles at a good pace comfortably...
