Here is the plan:

 

A) Go to a nice park in Westchester County, about 45 minutes from NYC, which is full of activities in the area and we usually get a balanced mix of singles, couples, families and kids,

B) Hang out in the park all day doing some or all of the following:

 

** Beach—Relax,  Swimming with Lifeguars

 

** Nature Walks & Short Hikes

 

** Volleyball, Soccer, Frisbee, Stomp Rockets and other activities

 

** Hudson  Mansion tour in Van Courtland Manor (w/in 10 minute walk, separate admission price) (Tours at 12:30, 1:30 and 3:00)

 

** Kosher Dinner

 

** Accessible via public transportation ( Metro North Station, 10 minute walk away)

 

 

 

 

C) End the day with both groups at a 5:00 PM kosher hot catered dinner for all (carnivores, omnivores and vegetarians), with volleyball and other activities

Decide quickly so you won’t get closed out!  Right now, the weather looks to be awesome ( in the mid 80s and sunny). Severe rain cancels, but otherwise the event will occur.

This is a new event, but in general for large events like this  we close the RSVPS and have to  reject  many people because people registered late or incompletely.  This year we had over 100 for our Memorial Day, and at some point I will close this out. It could be as large! Register QUICKLY, so you don’t get closed out!

 

 

Weather and Rain Policy

 

We will update this page and those who attend regarding the weather 

 

We intend the hold the event unless steady rain will occur over the course of the entire day. No refunds unless the event is canceled due to rain.

 

 

ADVANCE PAYMENT REQUIREMENT TO RSVP:

 

In order to complete your reservation, you must pay for the event in advance either  via check (postmarked by the deadline) or via paypal by the deadline at the top of this page. Failure to pay may result in your being unable to attend the event.

In order to complete your registration, you need to have your payment postmarked no later than Monday,  July 30, 2018.  Failure to do so may mean you will not be able to attend the event. Also, if you wish to get the early bird price, you must send payment no later than WEDNESDAY, July 25. You may ask for a refund until Wednesday, June 27. If you need to cancel after that, you must find someone to sell your spot to who is able to get themselves to the event. NO REFUNDS AFTER WEDNESDAY JULY 25

When you complete the  RSVP form at the bottom of this page by selecting your activities, you will be directed to a paypal page and will be asked to log in and pay at PayPal’s site. Once  you complete the RSVP form and pay via paypal, you will be considered fully registered.

 

PRICING

 

The balance of any monies you might owe is due at the event. Please bring cash or checks (preferable)  made out to “Davetrek LLC”. When you arrive you will need to go through registration complete any payments for the event.
